We have tried multiple brands on optical mice on both machines with the same results. XP does not see the mouse either from a cold boot or hot plug. From a cold boot the mouse will light for a second or two then as the OS loads it goes bye bye.. Can anyone help? Legacy USB devices have to be enabled in the BIOS.
